Description of Services
Therapy
Leaps and Bounds Pediatric Therapy Center works with some of the finest therapists in the East Valley. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Music Therapy are some of the therapies provided. These services are provided directly at the Center, or may be arranged at a client’s home.
Habilitation
Center and home-based services are coordinated with therapists to supplement their professional services. In our Habilitation Lab, a variety of workstations are available to service children with autism, developmental delays, sensory impairment, ADHD, etc. Children will have one-on-one attention to achieve their habilitation goals. Habilitation needs range from self-help assistance to academic instruction.
Respite Care
Trained staff are available to provide respite services to meet family needs. Attentive care in your home or in a safe, secure and educational setting in our Respite Room at Leaps and Bounds Pediatric Therapy Center are options licensed by Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
Academic Learning Institute
Leaps and Bounds Pediatric Therapy Center hosts the Academic Learning Institute. The Institute uses research-based teaching methods that have proven to increase academic achievement in a variety of settings and across targeted skill areas such as reading, writing, and math. Comprehensive programs are diagnostically driven and then customized to suit the child’s individual way of learning. They are correlated to the most current assessment and curriculum standards available so parents and educators can assess the progress of the child in comparison to the State and/or National Standards.
